I came across Leah's vintage, Scandinavian home on Creamy Life, with photos and story via Marie Claire Maison. This charming space's vintage aesthetic (she's a vintage furniture shop owner!) with a modern twist is my snow-day bookmark, for sure. The pops of turquoise, white-washed hardwood floors and, of course, that gorgeous yellow door are enough to brighten even the darkest day up here in the Northwest.

Can we get a full house tour of this place? I'm loving it already!!
The yellow is so uplifting!
I love the yellow door....wish I could do the same for my home but I live in a townhouse and we must maintain a certain look for the whole building. Too bad....
This home is decorated the way I'd like to dress, greys or neutrals with one pop of color. Very nice!
What a lovely home! Would love to see more of it.
Of course that's the house in summer. It's probably darker there right now than it is in Seattle! But nevermind, this is an awesome inspiration. Love those birch floors in the upstairs bedroom. LOVELOVELOVE the Swedish cottage aesthetic all around. And the fresh, clean minimalism. And the daffodil yellow door...OMG. Ahhh...that really was a breath of fresh air.
I love the yellow and the green and the contrast......
This home has been floating around forever, nice to see more of the house! Love that shelf in the lead photo. A little too taxi-yellow for me to live with, but those swedes make any bright color seem like a good idea. Nice place to begin with, too!
P Capucine: I think she was thinking more in the lines of the swedish flag than new york taxis :)
The picture with cabinet full of glass and colorful dishes mixed with wood chairs and dramatic artwork - great!
