I've always had a weakness for leopard prints, but until recently was afraid that it was too much of a statement in the interior, too over-the-top, too 'bordello' — and not necessarily in a good way. But lately I've noticed a new, subtle side of leopard. For decades, it turns out, a lot of decorators have used leopard print in rugs and carpets, where it becomes almost a neutral, mixing with a variety of patterns, textures and colors.

I've always wanted a leopard-print carpet in one room or another...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE
Any ideas for cost-conscious leopard area rugs that don't look too tawdry?
I've always said that leopard print is my favourite neutral!
I think I am good
i luv my very thick/plush leopard custom runner rug going down my entrance hall-makes u wander and wanna see more! 8-)
good gawd, no!
Not a look that really appeals to me... but I think the area rugs work better than the carpet, generally.
like the entry part with leopard, but whole floor covered by that would make me dizzy.
not the biggest fan of these rugs, sorry

These are all so gorgeous, impossible to pick a favorite.
I am a huge fan of all things animal print but I think for me, this proves that it is best used in small doses. Just like with clothing it is a great accessory, but too much just kills it for me. *I do have to say that I love the comment "leopard is my favorite neutral" awesome!
I love those rooms. I have a leopard print ottoman that goes great in my sitting room with a deep aubergine velvet upholstered club chair.
