Name: Leslie
Location: Andersonville — Chicago, Illinois
Leslie’s eclectic, carefully decorated apartment is a trove of vintage furniture, Kazak rugs, and rare books. A collector for years, she’s found pieces everywhere from church sales in New York to auctions in Chicago.
Her skillful pairing of items from different collections - such as Eva Ziesel dishes alongside Jessie King Art Nouveau books on the sideboard - makes each pop and ensures that her home looks well-curated rather than cluttered.

What a lovely and confident home.
I know those dining rooms, and boy oh boy do you need a bigger table!!!
ooooh - those Eva Zeisel Harlequin dishes.... perfection!! I have been scouring ebay for months for special Eva Zeisel pieces. Maybe I should start collecting an entire service? Very inspiring!
the books, the bricks, the fireplace ... swoon.
Love pic #1. Great idea for using log space in non-functioning fireplace. Exposed bricks are lovely.
@Julian - I live in her neighborhood and man do we have fantastic dining rooms around here. I can seat 18 comfortably in mine for a grand feast.
Lots of great Chicago apts on here lately. We need to do make an apartment therapy non-virtual home tour event.
I really love it. You have comfortable pieces within a traditional set of silhouettes...my personal favorite.
