We have seen our fair share of dollhouses and are continually blown away by the ingenuity and attention to the most minute of details. They are often so full of cool things that it is difficult decide which aspect to highlight. This latest dollhouse is no different, except for the fact that it is obvious what feature we should feature--the answer is shining right in our eyes.
We came across this dollhouse lighting tutorial over at ikat bag and knew it would brighten our readers' day (sorry, couldn't help myself). Guest blogger Karin from Made By K gives great step-by-step instructions on how you can easily shed a little light into your miniature world, room by room.
She even supplies a bunch of great ideas for lamp shades, using medicine cups, ping pong balls, votive candle holders and all types of other readily available stuff. We were particularly enamored with the cozy fireplace.
The tutorial is available at ikat bag. Karin's many other impressive projects can be found at Made By K.
