We can imagine few things more grand than a cross-continental escape to the Himalayas. As if the setting weren't enough, the Leti 360 Resort is a breathtaking project 7,545 feet above sea level, built into a terraced landscape (more pictures after the jump).

The resort is located about 5 and a half miles from the nearest road, and is accessed by a walking path, making it a high-end hike-to destination.

Comprised of five freestanding structures, there are four cottages available for rent, with a shared dining room and living room in the fifth building.

The water for the resort is heated with solar power, and the project was constructed using local techniques.
