Being design junkies here at Unplggd, it's no surprise that many of us are really into typography. Typography is more than just shapes of the words, it conveys a tone that cannot be expressed by words alone. Kinetic typography combines this quality with the storytelling ability of animation and the result is eye-catching and fun! See a few of our favorite videos after the jump...

Shop Vac. This is probably our favorite out there. The use of all the cultural icon along with clever use of imagery makes this a must watch as your introduction to kinetic typography.
Say What Again. This video sparked the public interest in kinetic typography, at least for me personally. This video transformed the iconic movie scene from Pulp Fiction and put it into type, without losing any original tone of the scene. If you are not familiar with this scene, it's NSFW.
Wedding Crashers: The Perfect Girl. Besides the fact that this is probably the best spiel of the entire movie, this video brought it to a whole other level.
Stephen Fry on Language. We liked how this video used the same type throughout, prompting us to focus on the content of the video, a speech by Stephen Fry on language. But still uses animation and the arrangement of words to express the spirit of the original speech.
Phrases of Time. Watch time fly by as you watch this video. Maybe it's time we get back to work...
