As a laptop user who has a secondary monitor to expand desktop real estate, we can vouch it's an investment worth every dollar in utility. But if you're looking for a monitor beyond the typical black, silver or white coloured offerings out there, you'll likely leave empty handed. LG Electronics is aiming to change that fact with their new LG Flatron W30 Series...

As reported by AVing Network, the Korean electronics manufacturer released an update of fruit flavour inspired rainbow range of notebook PC monitors for the Korea market. Choices range from Apple Mint, Jelly Pink, Oreo Black, Hawaiian and Blueberry.

Both models come with native resolution of 1366 x768/1920x1080 , 250 cd/m2 brightness, 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 160/170 degrees viewing angle. In addition, it also integrates a D-Sub port and a pair of USB ports. The Flatron W30 Series will sell for $199 for the 18.5" W1930S; these were supposed to ship last month according to Engadget, but we've yet to see them available/shipping.
