In my ideal living room, there exists a harmonious balance of organic and artificial, neutral warm tones and deep blacks and new shapes with classic staples. Of all the things I love though, one of my favorites is what you can't see: a soft woodsy fragrance to sooth the senses.

Okay, that log encased in acrylic is so beautiful my mouth fell open. Wowsa!
I felt the same way...Sigh...I want one!
I see that Feu de Bois Candle a lot in design related websites and magazine but wow at $60 each, is it really that good?
I want to be rich enough to afford $60 candles.
Love the mirror, too!
@monicak...I have tried Diptyque candles and they do small delicious and clean compared to most scented candles. They last well, too. However, I do not find them to be worth the price. I have changed from candles to high-quality Japanese incense for scentIng a room.
That Hawley table is remarkable. I've never seen anything like it.
LOVE that chair.
The Feu de Bois candle burns wtih the authentic smell of a pine-y wood fire. Admittedly they're cheaper in the UK, but the Diptyque candles are totally worth it - the smells are all gorgeous, they burn cleanly, they throw fragrance even when they're not burning, and last for ages. (No, I don't shill for them!)
I love the Feu de Bois candle. It's like a cherrywood firewood scent. Love the Diptyque Myrhe candle too. My favorite!! ^^
