- What do you love about your bedroom?:
- My favorite element is my bedspread which my mum and I sewed the summer before I left for University. It's made out of a Liberty of London print. I also love the view of Vancouver, at night it is amazing.
- What are your tips for creating a beautiful, healthy and organized bedroom?
- I find that having a specific space for every item keeps me organized in my little dorm room. I also move a lot so paring down my items to the things I love makes my space better. I find that buying posters and prints is an easy way to personalize and pack light.
- In modern homes, bedrooms have become more than just a place to sleep; they can be a retreat, a home office, a library, a relaxation zone. What are some ways you make the most of your bedroom?
- Since this is a dorm room I do a little bit of everything in here. I have my desk at the end of my bed to keep studying and relaxing a smooth transition. My landing pad is also my exit pad towards the kitchen so I have drinks, colour coded calendar, my tea collection and dirty dishes there.

Vote coming your way from a fellow Lululemoncouverite. :)
Your view is beautiful.
And I thought I had a good view of campus back in the day - the picture you took of that fog is just stunning. I also love your mini bar/tea area. Small spaces are such fun challenges, I wish we saw more dorm rooms on here!
That view made me eyes go O.O
Wow!!!! I love your room even though as a fellow dorm room dweller it kinda makes me jealous, haha. My room is about the same size as yours, but has beige cinder blocks and a view of a massive construction site across the street. You're lucky that your room came with the pops of blue from the door, built-in, and shelves. You've done a lovely job making it into a cheerful and charming but serene little sanctuary. I like your style. And if you're name is really Liberte then.................that's just awesome. You get my vote. : )
This may be the most charming dorm room I've ever seen!
This gets my vote for sheer ingenuity and the ability to create a wonderful space on (I imagine) a tiny budget and with the usual campus restrictions. Lovely!!!
Are you KIDDING me with that view... that is divine!!
LOVE the print above your bed. Is that a tarot card? Would like to know where you got it :)
Thanks so much BessCake. It's a poster of Paul Berthon image of Sarah Bernhardt. I bought it at my local poster shop but here's the same exact one on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Posters-Bernhardt-Poster-Illustration-Berthon/dp/B000NN8ODY
Now that is a teeny space with charm. And the view is crazy beautiful. Almost as nice as my best dorm views from my college days in Boston: of the Boston Commons and the gold-domed state house and the Charles River, complete with the train traveling over the Longfellow Bridge and the sailboats.
Um, best dorm room view ever?
My college had a beautiful campus and a beautiful lake with some beautiful views...but dang. That's gorgeous.
Hey! It's UBC! Good times :)
Awesome view!!! Great use of space!!
I am so impressed with what you did with your dorm room. Mine was much more generic, and all of the furniture was bolted to the floor. Your view is stunning. Great job!
SUCH a cool room and, wow, what a view. I would love to live in that space!
Wow what a view!!
I was looking at the first picture when suddenly it hit me...it's a UBC dorm room! Glad to see those rooms haven't changed much over the years. Those leather pull tab desks and dressers bring back memories. Your room looks great and you lucked out with the view.
beautiful! that view makes me want to move to Vancouver RIGHT THIS MINUTE.
I'm so impressed! What a great use of a restricted space
UBC represent! Well done.
What a great dorm room! That window and view is just awesome. And you did a wonderful job decorating an otherwise drab room. It's young without being juvenile and your colors compliment each other.
Another Anglophile! You made a little charm go a long way. And I adore the view.
i miss UBC's views. that alone gets you my vote (but the room is quite nice too! much better than the hovels of totem park that i lived in...)
Really fun to see a dorm room on here. I vote for a whole dorm room contest.
Congrats on a beautiful achievement! I love what you did - wish I had have thought to create a space like that when I was in university!
Beautiful! It looks so cosy and welcoming, truly a home away from home!
This is an adorable room, dorm or otherwise. Great job. Love the yellow and blue elements. And that really is a million-dollar view.
