Today? By "today," do you mean next month?
Isn't the release date March 14th? Or was it changed?
Today? I thought it wasn't out until March 14? (Yes I literally have it on my calendar). Can anyone confirm?
those coffee mugs might just make mornings bearable
Hmm, yeah, I thought it was March 14th too (O Mag sez March 15). A majority of blogs say March 14th, so stick with that.
Yes, I'd heard it was mid-March.
Love that peacock feather pillow! Wow!
i TOTALLY have my eyes on the peacock piggy bank, black/white canister and naturally, the watering cans! oh my gosh...i had NO IDEA liberty was at target!!!! this is the best combo of both of my loves:
fashion - http://www.runwaydaily.com/ and
home design - http://www.casacullen.com/
thanks for the POST!!! i see i have to wait till mid-march though...counting down the days!
Do they have rugs in their target collection?
Must also be featuring a Liberty of London Time Machine so we can jump ahead to March 14th.
>smash<
Just broke my piggy bank. I'm in!
It's 1968 all over again...
i saw a commercial for this and almost feel out of my chair!

You're showing your age, dear.
Why oh why is there not a Target store in Canada? Do they not realize how successful they would be?
I love you TheBay, but you guys need to pick up the slack. Eaton's had revamped near the end and had a really cool tween/fun section, but it was too late by then. Do not let this happen to you!
Very similar to the new Ikea Renate line:

It's interesting that Liberty's using their 60s/70s archive and not the classic Tana lawn prints. I think this stuff is pretty good, but I'm not bowled over by the actual products. The bike's the most inspired.
Patrick--
You'll have to speak a little louder - What did you say?
Now where's my laprobe and tea?
Oh, and did I ever tell you of the time Betty Ford and I met for lunch in 1975?
We drank to her husband's health and she didn't stop until the Reagan Administration, the poor thing...
so cute!
Jose A - Agreed, and Ikea's new fabric line looks a lot like the new French General fabric line...
How I wish those storage boxes did not have contrasting color around the lids. I am guessing they did that to save money on pattern-matching but I think they'd look so much better even if the pattern didn't match up at all. Likewise, the white banding around the top edge of the canisters & on the lids makes them look cheap. I really wish these Target designer collaborations would stick to simpler objects so that they wouldn't have to cut such glaring corners.
OMG, it's so 60s, but I want every single piece!
Nope, the sixties were bad enough the first time around, I think I'll pass. (Except maybe for that peacock pillow... Do kinda love that!)
Oh that bicycle reminds me of my mother's bike back in the seventies. It was an old thing that she jazzed up with pink floral tackyback in the frame and a bright pink, painted basket up front! I loved that bike....
Erm, I meant tackyback ON the frame not in it. Just carried away on a wave of nostalgia!
Most of this stuff will be passe in very short order. And it isn't too pretty, now. I'll pass.
The tea pot's white spout enrages me.
I suppose they're using these prints because Liberty's trying to be a little wiser about how they use the classic stuff; protecting the brand, etc. They themselves manufacture and sell much less of the print stuff than they used to. In the 80's that ground floor gifts section was like Aladdin's cave of Liberty print bits and bobs, but no more.
I am counting the days til this launch..
Jose A, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree..the similarity ends in that they are 'florals' and 'bright colours'. The design of the Liberty range is more pulled together, with stronger outlines and definition than the Ikea Renata link you posted..

I am sitting on the fence. I think the dishes and serveware are kind of cute. I agree with comments with concern about the quality - this makes a difference to me.
I think I need one of those watering cans for my day job.:)
I should like these--being half-English and loving a lot of 60s retro stuff--but I don't. Everything's feeling very Vera Bradley to me.
awesome
The floral lamp shade is fabulous!!
No Ianthe or Strawberry Thief, sadly. Now THAT'S something I'd camp out for.
GASP!! Absolutely lovely! I used to live in London and go to Liberty like every weekend. I couldn't afford anything then as I was just a student and everything there was expensive...
I must go to a Target store very soon and check the quality. I really really hope they are not crappy...because I want them all!!
Does anyone know if there is an end date for this collection?
