We are in the dog days of summer, and I have been dreaming of all things cool. After recently reminiscing about fun summers spent in a Maine cabin with pretty lace curtains, I spent a particularly hot afternoon searching for some new lace inspiration from our house tour archives.
1, 2 & 3. Use lace to divide rooms and add privacy, or simply hang it onto a wall to add texture.
4 & 5. Add it to your bed linens. Use a vintage lace tablecloth and drape it over your sheets or use it to finish off your pillowcases.
6, 7, 8, & 9. As your grandmother knew, lace can make beautiful curtains. Add them to a front door, bedroom or dining room. Lace dollies also make a pretty addition to plain curtains.
10. Affix it to galvanized pipes to create a pretty fence railing.
