We've shown you the lovely nook put together by Laura Normandin for her son Leo. Well, Leo's recently moved into his own room, and we couldn't help admiring the window treatment Laura created:
Apparently, this is the most coveted window of the house, overlooking a bird feeder and their yard. First, we like the scale of the curtain Laura made. Hanging the curtain from way above the actual top of the window frame creates a beautiful focal point in this small space. And even more ingenious-Laura used a thick denim for the top section of the curtain to block out light for naps, but the beautiful light blue pattern she added at the bottom keeps things from getting too dark or heavy in the room.
