I definitely did this over the dining room table at my parents' home last x-mas, and absolutely loved the look! Unfortunately, my rather traditional mom rolled her eyes and scorned the look all through the holiday. I'll sadly be keeping the ornaments off of her light fixtures when I head home this holiday season.
