Lights out, everyone! Tomorrow night the non-profit organization Lights Out San Francisco is urging everyone in the City to install one compact fluorescent light bulb and turn off all non-essential lighting for one hour (8-9 pm). The TransAmerica Building, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, and City Hall will all turn off their lights, and there's a list of restaurants here that will offer a candlelight dinner. One little hour, and it's estimated that as much as 15% of the energy consumed on an average Saturday night can be saved.
