Name: Lila (4 months)
Location: Kiawah Island, South Carolina
Favorite Family-Friendly Place To See or Thing To Do Here: Kiawah is an amazing island very close to Charleston, SC. We loved taking the guided nature walks looking for alligators and other native animals.

Best Tip for Traveling with Kids: Babies are so adaptable and relatively easy to travel with if you keep it simple -- we were lucky because our baby LOVED her carseat, and the adaptor to our Bugaboo Bee stoller allowed us to take her everywhere in the carseat -- from the car to the plane to the stroller. She was peaceful because although her surroundings were changing, she was in a familiar place.

Favorite Way to Make it Feel Like Home: The Snugride carseat with Bella Baby cover -- made it very comfortable even on the hottest days.

An Item you MUST Take With You While Traveling: As an infant in the summer, we always had our little felt fan (shown in the picture) from CVS, she could poke it and it wouldn't hurt her, but kept her very cool -- great on stuffy planes (sitting on Mom's lap for 7 hours can get hot!), walks in the humidity, etc!

Lila is two now, so we take the CARES harness on the plane rather than lugging (and potentially damaging) her carseat. It is awesome for an active toddler because it keeps her in the plane seat as if she were in a carseat. We also go everywhere with her two favorite blankets and Marilyn (named after the gifter) doll -- they make every hotel crib feel like home!

Thanks Morgan!
