Lily Rose's Shabby Chic Space

My Room

Name: Lily Rose
Location: Sydney, NSW Australia

Lily Rose's arrival was five years in the making, so when she finally arrived I had folders full of decorating ideas I couldn't wait to bring to life. I started off with my paint colors which are a combination of traditional pastel pink, neutral white and mushroom, which I think allow the small space to have maximum light but also warmth.

I introduced touches of apple green and mint to keep the space fresh and compliment the pretty pink feel. Furniture-wise we replaced Lily Rose's large sleigh cot with a toddler size single bed in cream metal which was a bargain on sale through Domayne. Most of the other furniture pieces were reclaimed or vintage finds that we painted and use as essential storage for the never ending toys that seem to multiply like rabbits.

I did spurge on the beautiful crochet rug by Hooked Design which I just adore, linking the whole hand made theme to my Collage Trio of Little Pearl Designs artworks. I started making these children's pieces after being inspired by decorating Lily Rose's interiors and now create a bespoke range from home while raising my daughter.
