Location: Ohio
Lily is our fifth child and (most likely) our caboose. We really wanted a room that celebrated her and expressed how much she is cherished by everyone in our family.
Many of the items either belonged to or were made by family members, so there are quite a few sentimental connections for us. The scrap quilt was made by Lily's great grandmother and great-great grandmother many decades ago and served as the main inspiration for the room's color scheme — if there is a scheme, that is. I've tried to find a color not included somewhere in this room and, with the exception of neons, have been stumped! It's a bright, cheerful, cozy, family-centered room. We're so thankful to have been able to make it for her!
Just a little note: The large frame above the crib and the little tea set cabinet are both screwed tightly into the wall studs. No worries there!
Thanks so much!

Shaw's Original Fir...
That dresser and mirror are to die for! Lovely space.
I adore this! You've done such a nice job to make it feel personal and homey but still bright, clean, and peaceful.
Great room and I love that you call her your "caboose!"
Perfectly sweet room! I love the "L" above her crib, the crib skirt, the dresser... heck, I love everything! Also, five kids... WOW! I love big families! (Maybe I will have five, too, someday.)
The crib skirt is usually nice. Really makes the room...
I love the little nooks you created in the room. Perfect for a young child.
