Limited Edition Wooden Vessels by LEBORED

This crafty collection of wooden vessels is the work of Austin designers Alex Shilin and Jennifer Eshelman. And when they say limited edition, they really mean it — the more intricate designs are sold in extremely limited editions of five to ten pieces each.

The tall, slender vessels are made of natural oak, and are sealed inside with epoxy resin for waterproofness, should you want to use them as vases.

Shilin and Eshelman hand paint, burn, or stain their designs into the wood — or in the case of the Naked vessel, simply coat the wood with tung oil to preserve its natural grain. Every piece is made to order, so the slight variations in design make them truly one-of-a-kind.

The duo plans to release a new collection every month revolving around whatever idea, theme, process, material, or style strikes their fancy, so stay tuned for what they'll come up with next month.
