Limited-Run Pillows by Hola Amiga

We're celebrating home hacks and DIYs this month, but even we recognize that we can't always make everything for ourselves. And when we can't, we want to buy from people who cherish the principle that handmade is best. Hola Amiga is a small company that makes their fun-yet-sophisticated retro-inspired pillows in small production runs of only 20 at a time. But if you think this adds up to big price tags, think again.

Hola Amiga is a collaboration between run by San Francisco-based illustrators Nate Williams and Alexander Blue. After the designs are created, each 16x16 inch pillow is hand screenprinted in tiny production runs. (Though don't worry: If there's demand for a design, the duo Nate will make more.)

If you like these pillows and want to check out more artwork by the guys behind Hola Amiga, be sure to visit Nate's and Alexander's websites here and here.

Pillows are $50 each at Hola Amiga. (Bags and art prints will also be available soon.)
