Can fit into the smallest space. In cases when you need extra chairs for guests or simply want super slim, affordable chairs for a studio apartment, we're big fans of the Lina Chair ($110)...

A classic DWR design that has been a staple with our clients for many years, the Lina is made like the typical French park folding chairs, but with a padded leather seat and back that comes in three colors. Strong enough for daily use, it folds up into next to nothing. Poof!

Calligaris Skip Chair
Anybody know if this is available from retailers in Canada (online or brick-and-mortar)?

love these chairs!
Love them! Airy.
Amy, Valerie, and anyone else -
As much as I seem to move - 7 times since '95! - these chairs look really practical - and tasty, to boot. Are they actually comfortable? Are they made well? Would they hold up in daily use at a small dining/multipurpose table? I have been soooo disappointed with the general quality that I see in the mainline furniture chain stores in my area. Some fairly "high end" stuff that I see would last maybe a month!
I have a pair of these that I use with my Ikea "Saarinen" table. I find them quite comfortable and have sat in mine for hours while surfing the web after breakfast. So, yes I think they will hold up to daily use and the quality is fantastic. They also ship quickly from DWR.
QUESTION: I went to the link and it says they are $150 each...are they available somewhere else for the $110? That's a big difference if I want 4 chairs...
@ design.is.good: It looks as if the original blog entry on this was back in 2007, so the price has evidently gone up. I'm bummed too! :(
