Color Inspiration: I was lucky enough to find a couple of vintage paintings of Paris on eBay. One of them was of the tiny street in Paris where my husband and I stayed during our honeymoon last year. We loved the color palettes and also liked the idea of using blue to contrast with the fact that we live in the desert.
Give Lisa a THUMBS UP if you think this room belongs in the finals!

Lisa and Joey's Paris in the Desert
Colors Used: We used Sherwin-Williams paint in Reflecting Pool (SW 6486) on the focal wall which, along with the ceiling, had been previously covered in mirrors by a former owner. The room felt so much calmer after the mirrors were removed and the wall was painted this color. Creamy (SW 7012) was used on all the other walls. I love the texture that milky white paint creates on brick.
Color Tip: Incorporating shades of white is a great way to add contrast and give your colors "breathing room".

Love the design!
I like the idea of that blue on the walls.
Love it!
I've seen it in person and as good as the photos are, they do not do it justice. They just can't capture the charm.
i always think of Joey n Lisa's apartment with designer's glee. I can only hope to someday capture the cute, fresh style they have going on in my own home someday. Good job fwiendlies!!!!
Love the colors!
Love the colors!
I'd sleep there. looks sweet.
I do sleep there. :)
The colors in the room feel like they're pouring out of that Paris street in the painting to the right. We spent two weeks in Paris for our honeymoon. That Lisa captured the essence of the experience in color amazes me.
Thanks a bunch for the nice comments! They're much appreciated!
Great Job.....Love everything!
I like it!!
C'est magnifique...bien fait!
Rich colors - so pretty!
Ooo - lala!
These colors are great, really look soothing
Love the blue but where is Clemintine's bed?
Lovely. I like the fact that the color commitment is all the way down to the carpet.
I must know where you got that comforter? It's amazing!
Please, please, please tell the source :)
The duvet cover is vintage Anthropologie ;-), which means it's no longer available. Sorry!
I love the colors, and in this case, unlike hardwood or tile, the luxe touch of the carpet adds extra coziness. Great job, Lisa and Joey!

I really like everything about your lovely room...simple/uncluttered atmosphere, colors, and sweet Paris paintings. Very nice!
