Remember Lisa Bengtsson's ceilingpaper? Here are two different patterns that she designed for ceiling panels. Love 'em -- we've always hated those ugly acoustic ceilings.

I wonder why we haven't seem this before. It's a lovely way for a small shop to spruce up their place!
Speaking of ceiling tiles.... I have a suspended ceiling in my laundry room and studio/office. I would love ideas for a way to make them look less awful. I'd seriously consider ordering the white on white tiles shown here but they only come in squares (mine are rectangular).
kimg924--if your rectangles happen to be 2'x4', i think you could just use 2 panels per rectangle, and then dummy up the seam between them with a painted aluminum strip or something similar. i bet it could work. although i'd test that idea out before you order a bunch of ceiling tiles from Sweden. also because they're a little smaller in dimension that US 24" standard (more like 23 1/2"), so your grid would have to be able to accomodate that.
love the tone on tone ones!
Love them. They almost make me wish I had those acoustic-tile ceilings (almost).
Something like this is LONG overdue for the masses.
I'm intrigued by the light fixture - does anyone know anything about it? Thanks!
I've been searching for some ideas to spruce up the awful suspended ceiling in my bedroom -- this is a great idea, and something I can probably do on my own with a stencil and some spray paint :)
