Saturday saw the first Modern Economy sale in Portland and, yes, we gave up our beauty sleep for the privilege. We managed to meet AT:SF's illustrious Anh-Minh; chat up some AT fans in line; snag a J. Mendicino pigeon vase; and run into lots of familiar faces (including one from our recent Gilt Club dinner).
Judging from the crowds, the event seemed to be a rousing success, and we hope that Meg will make her way to PDX again soon.
If you attended, what did you think of the sale? Pros? Cons? And, most important, what was the best deal you walked out with?
