Who doesn't like to get a little bang for their buck? If you're interested in a weekend project that won't take much time but will have a big impact on the look of your home, then check out these three videos from our archives.

Here's a simple idea for a home office, or any place you want a spot to jot things down: instead of hanging a big chalkboard, paint one on the wall with chalkboard paint. It's minimal, inexpensive, and gets the job done. Check it out in Jennifer's home office.

This is one of my favorite tips, from former Apartment Therapy staffer Cate Griffin: paint just the inside of your front door. It's a quick project that requires minimal effort, but provides a big impact.

And finally, from interior designer Rebecca Robertson: want a large-scale piece of art with a big impact? Large pieces can be hard to find, and very expensive, but Rebecca offers a few options for making art with a big impact yourself, on the cheap.

Thanks for watching, and happy weekend!
