I also needed a better solution for my jewelry. My necklaces kept getting tangled, and having it shoved in a drawer was doing me no favors. So I made fabric-covered corkboards and hung everything on them with Pinhooks. Now it's a design element that adds color to my walls and keeps everything visible and within reach. In the process of the bedroom cleanout, I found my closet floor (haven't seen THAT in awhile), and some other fun things, like my high school class ring, a bracelet I bought in Italy, and a neon orange wig.
There are still some major changes I want to make. When the office/guest room is no longer an Outbox explosion, I plan to move my desk in there to make room for a reading nook in my bedroom. Also, I need to paint, badly. But these small victories keep me hopeful along the way. Have you found anything strange during your weekend cleaning sessions?
