What a journey the January Cure has been! With a handful of friends, some of whom hadn't been over in quite a long time, I toasted to the end of a productive month, and to the beginning of a year of transformations.
I was nervous to take on the task of sharing my daily progress with you all, but having that commitment and support kept me going when I wanted to succumb to flu-fueled hibernation or the roadblocks of uncharged power drills. So thank you for that!
In terms of progress, more items than I thought have gotten checked off my master goals list, though some have been added, and some no longer seem important. I still have some huge projects to tackle, like the Outbox, I mean, guest room. I'll be sure to keep you all updated.

Though there's still work to be done, it helps to celebrate along the way. No matter how much or little you completed during January, rejoice in your successes! You deserve it.
Congratulations, everyone! How do you feel?

Thanks, I really enjoyed this, and found breaking things up like you did, made all the difference in the world. I would often be 'reading your mind' by moving into something that you suggested before you got there. Other times, I'd feel I'd gotten behind, but just learned to relax and enjoy the process. In the short time we did this project, I got more done than when I set aside a week or weekend to tackle just one piece. Slow and easy does win the race! It was fun, and I hope you do this again!
Thanks for sharing your process with us, Tara. Following your work has been so helpful for me. Seeing how easy it is to take on the huge tasks in my home if I tackle them bit by bit has been fabulous and inspiring. That list I made on day one isn't looking nearly as scary today as it did four weeks ago ... in part because I've been able to cross many items off that list this month, but also because I've been able to see the smaller steps I can take to begin attacking those tasks. Wonderful!
I love the guy with the mustache!
I want to thank everybody who participated. Knowing that people all over the world - i'm from France, so i imagine readers are everywhere- were cleaning, out-boxing, thinking about their homes at the same time than me gave me a lot of strenght, courage and a warm feeling in my heart. Bravo tout le monde!
Can we pleeeeeeeeeeeease be done with mustaches? Really, they had a good run.
