Entertaining inspiration. British modern interiors magazine, Living Etc, really hits the mark with their December 2006 issue. Tons of inspiration for simple, modern holiday decorating—everything from new festive paint colors to creative ideas for displaying ornaments. We mentioned the Trestle Table earlier in the week and there is no end to the good stuff in here! —aaron

OK, I have to subscribe. I can't get a newstand copy till the first of the month and often later here in DC!
Pixie—I got my copy on the newstand in NYC last week...airmail subscriptions are so expensive! Have you thought about Zinio? You can subscribe digitally.
My subscription ran out with the November issue and I don't think I can bring myself to spend for the renewal. I wish there was a cheaper way to get this mag... or better US mag options!
Aaron-didn't know of Zinio - must investigate...
waah..doesn't look like Zinio has it.
Why, oh why does a US subscription have to be to expensive??
Pixie—if you go to the link for Living Etc, there is a menu on the left side...click on "digital magazine" and the Oct issue appears. I do not have a zinio account, but I believe if you purchase one, you can access the latest issue.
Aaron, I sure don't see it. What category within digital magazine is it in?
Whoops, you said go to Living Etc, not to zinio. Duhhh...
I'm having a nice little conversation with myself here.
I like the online version of Living Etc, and others, because you can save whole pages digitally, thus cutting down on all that paper clutter of saving pages or the whole magazine. I see a future in this.
I got hooked on this magazine while I was in the UK. Only problem is, a subscription to it for US addresses is hugely expensive.
Where are people finding it on the newsstands right now? Barnes & Noble still has the November issues out.
thanks!
I found it at Universal News on 23rd next to Home Depot.
Thanks! that's right by me.
What does everyone think of the Livingetc website? I think its quite cool - especially the Forum.... come onto the Forum!!
