We have always been drawn to the idea of living on a ranch. Far away from people and the commotion of the big city that we're used to. Part of it is the decor itself - the richness of textiles that come to mind, wood floors, comfortably arranged furniture, and inviting interiors. The owner of this beautiful ranch is Liz Lambert, a hotelier from Austin. You might be familiar with one of her hotels -
Hotel San Jose that we previously featured on Apartment Therapy. Thirteen years ago she bought the run down motel and completely transformed it into what it is now. Check out more photos of her ranch after
the jump...We came across her ranch on Style Files and completely fell in love with the decor. It feels so natural and inviting. The colors are amazing and the different patterns complement the style of the house. Textured paintings and signs in combination with delicate window treatments create beautiful compositions. We love the antique bathtub with the exposed plumbing and the view that you get while taking a bath. Not many of us can enjoy this much privacy and space.

Does anyone know where I can purchase the pendant lamp in the bedroom? I've been looking for one that doesn't need to be hardwired. Thanks!

Second request for sourcing on that fabulous pendant lamp! And the window treatment has just solved a dilemma for me, so thanks muchly for this post.

Beautiful, and it made me remember a book I loved, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, which was a lousy movie.
The Hotel San Jose is one of my favorite places ever. I am not surprised the owner's home is so cool!
