A while ago, we wrote about the difference between seekers (people who like all their stuff out in the open) and hiders (those of us that like it all tucked away). After compiling some open storage options for seekers, we thought it was time to round up our favorite closed (and semi-closed) storage solutions for hiders...

Small Cool 2008 Winners, Tony and Hilary, combine cabinets with cubby-style panel shelving.

Kathleen and Alex keep items hidden in a frosted glass credenza behind the sofa.

Dave's antique lockers create a wall of storage.

David and Jennifer use storage benches by their front door - a great option for shoe storage.

This DIY room divider is made a series of IKEA wardrobes lined up next to one another.

IKEA kitchen cabinets are mounted to the wall above storage boxes that hide CDs.

Luca Meda's 505 Modular Storage System hides the TV behind lacquered panels.

This solution from Martha Stewart allows you to hide a home office in a wardrobe.

David and Im (Small Cool 2006 winners) hid the contents of their closet behind a sailcloth.

I really like that sailcloth idea....... hmmm. Can I get some of that for a reasonable price?

I like the DIY Room Divider.
I thought these things would be a little more hide-y...
anyone know where the first picture cube's are from? the inserts are ikea. . I know that, but the actual structure doesn't look ikea. . anyone know anything about it?
AT should be paying the residuals to the people who own the house in the first photo because this must be the 30th time it has been used in a small space storage solution post.
That David & Im space was so excellent.
