Part of the reason we live small is so we don't have a long commute. If we lived further from the city, we would likely find ourselves expanding into slightly more space. Rather, we are more interested in a good quality of life in our day-to-day experiences. We feel we can acheive that high quality of life better in a small space than with a long commute.
