We blogged last week about living without a fridge, and while the idea might be unfathomable to us, we started wondering if there might be any other appliances we could actually live without. (We don't own a microwave or a dishwasher.) Thinking about it, we realized that we'd pretty happily give up our television.
While a TV doesn't use up as much energy as a fridge, we figured we hardly ever turn ours on anyway. Plus, we don't have cable, and maybe this is cheating, but we figured we could always watch movies on our computer. (The computer's staying.) So does it make sense for us to have both a TV and computer?
How often do you watch television? Would you live without it in an effort to be more green? Or for another reason?
