It's fashion week, so we've got fashion on our minds. The collections on the runways are inspirational and extremely beautiful and we're often curious to see where the designers kick their feet up. Elle Decor got a glimpse into the Moroccan home of designer Liza Bruce and her artist husband, Nicholas Alvis Vega. It's everything we imagined it to be.
There's certainly no lack of color in their Moroccan apartment. Bright white bedrooms with bright accessories, a green kitchen and a pink living room are examples of just how inspiring their home is. One would think that a pink living room would be daring enough on its own — but the couple didn't stop there. They added brightly colored accessories to keep up with the intensity of the pink. We don't think they're competing with each other; more like living nicely together.
The green kitchen is to die for and we love how literally organic it is with an actual tree in the middle of the space. The architectural details are so unadulterated moroccan and that's what really made us fall in love with this home. The doors leading out from the bedrooms are breathtaking and we really wish we could wake up to that every morning. Their tub is even shaped like a star, and frankly, that's just not fair!

I love all of those rooms! So many rich colors.
SO JEALOUS!! The kitchen is stunning.
Much to love! And a pink room that didn't make me cringe!
Cray cray dead gorgeous!
"Moroccan," not "Morrocan." That kitchen is magical!
I LOVED this issue of Elle Decor because of this feature...gorgeous use of color and pattern and some really refreshing and unique takes on Moroccan decor.
Wowza. Fabulous. Is that an actual tree in their kitchen?
Wonderful! I am stealing that arrangement of mirrors on the headboard wall!
A fest for the eyes! It's also a relief to see non-MCM décor every once in a while. I adore the mirrors&paint headboard.
Wow all that beautiful color and a tree in the room? What more could a girl ask for?!
The green kitchen is to die for...
Well, maybe not the giant tree part, but the green herringbone tiled floor? ABSOLUTELY!
Amazing! I would love to see more of it!
