What I Love About My Entryway:
It is compact but has an abruptness with the wall facing the front door (not something I love) HOWEVER when I took out the 1980s grasscloth wallpaper, plastered and painted it with 3 or 4 layers of blue, turquoise and ivory paint scumbled to create a fresco look---it is now fabulous!
Three of My Best Tips and Tricks for Creating a Successful Entryway:
Opened up with art mirror which adds a fun feature and reflection for depth/ bench for sitting down and removing or putting on shoes--- suggests an immediate activity when entering or leaving---I got the bench from Etsy as well as the handwoven rug both of which I adore!
