We love peeping into other folk's home's and gaining inspiration. We'll usually come away with great ideas that would translate well in our own home. Take for instance Liz's red shutters in her dining room...

Liz's cherry-red shutters do an exceptional job framing her windows. They make for a strong focal point and go great with her green and teal accent pieces. The pair was previously painted barn yard red but Liz wanted a change going into summer and decided to use spray paint to give the room an entirely new look.

beautiful, creative. love the red. shutters have been a source of inspiration for some of my "older" paintings. lovely to see them used decoratively, in an interior.
Fun!
(Red aqua)*(Black white)*(slim metal chunkywood)=awesomely fresh. I really like this a lot. This looks like a place where a delicious food, good wine, good friends, and lively conversation would naturally occur.
Although, that difference in length between the longer shutters and the shorter window tweaks me just a little, it does create a pleasantly casual effect, and the long white curtain does a fair job of transitioning between the two. (The curtain length hits just right.) I'd like to see more of Liz's sweet home.
Hold the phone! This Liz is this Liz?
