- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I recently relocated from Miami to LA and made it my mission to find the perfect place to make a home. I had a list of non-negotiables that my home needed to have, so when I found this place, I knew it was the one. I fell in love with all of its unique characteristics: the floor plan, the great natural light from windows in every room, the built in vanities, and the vintage kitchen sink and cabinets. I think living in a small space requires a lifestyle change for most people, but I love the simplicity of living in a small home. I think it's important to find things that are special to you and have them on display to enjoy. I love the hunt, and have searched high and low for things that work for me and my space.
Talk about a design love story! Jason and Katie met while working for storied designer Michael S. Smith — Jason was the Studio Director and Katie was a designer. Filtering Michael's meticulous attention to details, sense of balance and history through their own lens, they've put their own spin on American melting pot traditional for a look that is clean, modern, and simple, yet never dull.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- We love our home's location: it's in a small, tucked-away neighborhood near Los Angeles's oldest park, yet we're also very close to downtown, most of the city's major freeways, and many great surrounding neighborhoods. We have a large outdoor area for gardening and relaxing, including avocado and lemon trees that shade our house. Our home also feels very efficient: utilities and rent are fairly low, and it's much easier to keep clean than the larger spaces we've lived in. It's also forced us to pare down our belongings quite a bit, which I've actually loved. Fewer things means fewer things to take care of, which is a great stress-reducer!

Marisa and Peter welcomed their twin babies Macy and Oliver into the world one year ago and it has turned their lives and home upside down in the most wonderful way.
MoreI'm warning you — if you've never clicked over to CuffHome to check out the shop's offerings, your Pinterest board is about to get a workout. A fluffy ottoman with tiny gold feet peeking out, a 70s-inspired channel chair, a chain-wrapped ball lamp, a sleek blue velvet sofa, a rope-wrapped chandelier... although these glamorous yet organic, sensuous yet industrial pieces are rooted in a vintage aesthetic, they're completely modern.
MoreFinnish-born, French-educated, LA living, Karina Oldemans combines the practicality of the first, the sophistication of the second and the imagination of the third for timeless, classic interiors with a modern sensibility.

- What I Love About My Small Home:
- The best thing about my small home is that it welcomes everyone that comes through its doors. Its natural light provides a warmth that can only be replicated with grandma's sugar cookies. The knick-knacks provide a sense of wonder and leads to wonderful conversations. A piece of stone could lead to a far distant memory and back to the food that sits on the table. It's a place for community to be build and for friendships to strengthen. Such a place requires many hiding gems and secret passages. My home is a reflection of how I am and how I want to present my self. What I love about my small home is how well it represents me and how it welcomes everyone.
