The former Sag Harbor Watchcase factory is being converted into loft-style condos. Renovated by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects (who did Grand Central Terminal and the Brooklyn Navy Yard), they plan to restore the facade but not add additional adornments to "pretty it up." The former industrial eyesore will inject some SoHo flair into the coastal retreat. The building plans to open for residents next summer.
