Kathryn and Walter hit the South Loop Loft Walk yesterday and took a bunch of photos that they have shared with AT: Chicago. Our weekend was totally booked, so we're very happy to get to virtually do the walk thanks to Kathryn...
From the email she sent this morning: "I wanted to share my pictures from the loft walk with you/AT Chicago. It was a lot of fun and there were some very cool lofts (and a few, not as cool). Anyway, we really enjoyed it. There were definitely some trends: built-in shower niches; extensive lighting control systems (lutron), undercounter lighting in the kitchens and a lot of cowhide rugs."
Here are some of our favorites from Kathryn's flickr set:

(Thanks Kathryn!)

Damn. I wish I could have made it. That's such a great way to get ideas!
It's nice to see so many customized kitchens.
20 BUCKS!
I take that back.
Thanks for saving us some dough Kathryn!
Thank you for sharing. I saved many photos to my Flickr favorites. So many great ideas for decorating and home remodel. I would love a few of those kitchen and baths. The pictures will stay in the inspiration folder until the day comes.
luv it
Where is that bed from - the one in the first picture? Room and Board Domain???
Yes, that is the Domain bed from Room and Board, I have the same one! I was sorry the owner of that loft was not there - her taste and mine were very similar!
Thank you Kathryn and Walter for taking such lovely pictures!
That first photo of the bedroom reminded me..
When I was in middle school, I made a mobile type thing that hung over my bed out of deer antlers I found in the woods. Such a young visonary I was! hehe :)
