Location: Weaver Park in Lake Charles, Louisiana
When I started planning this room after I found out we were having a boy, I thought about my favorite boys (my husband, my dad, and my brothers). They're all outdoorsy, calm, straight-laced, and they have simple and classic style.
I wanted a neutral and peaceful room to reflect these things, and one that was boyish and babyish at the same time. I like different textures and wanted to mix wood, metal, soft cotton, etc. And I love bringing in things from outside — if I could plant trees and grass in his room I would!
