I used to live in a town that had at least two blackouts a month, but a good supply of candles made the disruption more of a welcome distraction. And while I had a drawer full of candles, I didn't own a single candle holder. I just stuck them on saucers and carried them around. In hindsight, not super safe, but exciting in a tiny 'I'm still afraid of the dark' and 'My, isn't this unexpected!' kind of way. I think that's why I'm so enamoured with these Loglike candle holders.
The saucers are vintage originals and the wooden base is hand-turned in the UK from reclaimed wood sealed with beeswax. Each candle holder is hand made in the loglike UK studio without glues and comes with a handmade candle in recycled packaging.
