One of the world's most famous flower shows, the Chelsea Flower Show, is underway in London this week. While tickets are sold out to the main show, London's posh Chelsea neighborhood is in full bloom, with floral creations popping up everywhere along King's Road.
If you don't have a ticket to the main show, you can still enjoy a living wall taking over the facade of Jcrew's future Sloane Square location, a pop-up floral shop inside Anthropologie from Scarlet and Violet, and flowers spilling out of store windows from Peter Jones and LK Bennett in Duke of York Square. However, none are more impressive than the Secret Garden built inside the Designers Guild home store by the talented Juliet Glaves of Thoughtful Flowers.
The rain held off for a few hours, just enough for Juliet Glaves and Tricia Guild to share their passion for flowers with guests at a garden tea party. Juliet has set up shop inside of the Designers Guild King's Road home store during the Chelsea Flower show, selling her natural blooms, all homegrown in her garden in Shropshire, England. She highlighted the benefits of purchasing locally grown cut flowers and buying flowers that are in season. Juliet's arrangements that are currently on view have taken inspiration from the many floral fabrics that Designers Guild is famous for. If you're in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by and check it out.
