Long Beach’s antique market is a little gem. We recommend it. It houses everything from plants, Arts and Crafts furniture, vintage clothes and more. Many of the vendors at this location also visit the others around town including the big daddy at the Rose Bowl each month.
One booth that caught our eye on our last visit was a vintage fabric dealer. We overheard one of the sellers telling a customer that they deal in reproductions and vintage.
Rare Vintage Fabrics is from the San Francisco area but travel to Vets Stadium once a month. If you are planning a bigger job, you can request they bring mulitple bolts or other special requests.
Where: Veterans Stadium
When: 3rd Sunday of every month [next event August 20th]
$$$: $5 entrance fee/ $10 early bird fee and check out the website for a printable coupon

Yay! It just so happens that I am going to be in Long Beach that weekend... amazing.
The Long Beach Antique Market is more than a little gem. Many dealers head there every week to buy items for their stores which they in turn mark up. It is by far the best antique market in Southern California. If you are into antiques at any level you should go.

suzanne, i second your vote for long beach. the rosebowl gets all the publicity but my luck's always been with long beach. great stuff AND great prices.
I LOVE the Long Beach Flea Market - prices are better than the Rose Bowl, as well. I still have an old Timex I got there for $5 about 25 years ago and it still works!
I love this flea market as well - cool stuff, great (low prices,) tons of fun old things and have been decorating my home for years from long beach.
