Long Islands in the Kitchen

That light... Where does it come from? What is it made of?

I pretty much live on an island. Or around an island I should say. It's where I spend most of my time.

gorgeous but you need a ginormous kitchen.

I miss my long island from back home! There is exactly 18" of counter space in the house we are living in... I swear every time we have friends over for a meal.

My island at home is *just* counter space (no sink, no burners) -- I did that deliberately, so that I have a huge area to pull strudel dough, bake cookies, and do art projects.

Has anyone had experience sourcing those Wegner chairs? Knockoffs are on the web but quality?
