We all know that Apartment Therapy is a great online resource for interior design eye candy, but creative minds need to constantly saturate themselves with intriguing imagery to keep the inspiration flowing. Our late friend Domino used to offer a fantastic online archive of pictures from the magazine, and in an exciting turn, the editors at Lonny have stepped in to replace what was lost.
The new Decorate section at Lonny allows users to search for ideas by room. Even included are oft-forgotten spaces like bookshelves and the outdoors. Within each category are select images of brilliantly inventive, whimsical, and interesting design work.
Launched by former members of the Domino magazine staff, Lonny also recently announced that a print version of the digital magazine will soon be made available.

Nomade Express Slee...
A little claustrophobic. Would be better (in my opinion) without the portrait over the bed.
This sort of reminds me of the nightmare scene from Trainspotting when Renton gets locked in his room to kick his heroine habit.
That room may not be me, but it is genius!
Don't you just love Lonny?
What I don't understand is why on the one hand decorators and designers think this sort of thing is worth doing/recommending while on the other hand all the TV shows that make over homes/rooms for either value improvement or resale are adamantly against this type of decoration?
Must
Have
That
Wallpaper!!!
@Lisa Hunter- mine too... I'm limiting my browsing to 1 hour. hopefully.
I disagree that the portrait shouldn't be there... without it I would get dizzy! I think the portrait adds a nice focal point amongst (good) chaos, which is brilliant. Love it!
I'd like that wallpaper better if it were toned down with some white wainscoting on the lower half.
dear Lord, my eyes hurt! And the funny thing is I actually like the wallpaper, but on the ceiling? seriously?
Yessss! This seriously fills the little void that was left in my world since the killing off of Domino.
Awful room--not at all relaxing.
The web site/service might be great, but this room -- no.
U.G.L.Y.
I love Lonny but...Lonny needs to upgrade to better web programming and a more consistent interface. The function of their website is really clunky and strange...looks very amateurish and is not easy to use. I was so excited to check out the site and quickly got annoyed and stopped looking around...hope you work it out kids... and best of luck to you.
