Look!: Contemporary and 20th-Century Design at Milwaukee Art Museum

Modernity circa 1952, Mirrored and Reflected Infinitely, 2004 by Josiah McElheny (Hand blown mirrored glass objects, chrome metal display, glass and mirror)

Starting from the outside of the Milwaukee Art Museum with the amazing Quadracci Pavilion structure, we made our way in to see the Biedermeier exhibit (sorry, we couldn't take any photos). We couldn't stop looking at the color studies and wallpapers showcased from the Biedermeier period, so our time with the 20th-century works and other exhibits was short lived. But the permanent and rotating exhibitions at MAM have us wanting to go back already. Opening Jan. 27, Francis Bacon: Paintings from the 1950s.
