We love Kelly's interpretation of Martha's festive pom-poms. While Martha's are perfect for weddings and other occasions that beg for color, we think Kelly's minimalist approach is perfect for winter decorations, whatever the celebration. We were so inspired that we took a slight detour on our commute home last night to to pick up the tissue paper, floral wire and fishing line.

We're happy to report that for under $5 and in less than 15 minutes we now have our very own winter wonderland.

In fact, the pom-poms are so fetching that we're tempted to leave them up year round...

Cute! Would look nice in other colours also.
I love the look of these. I wanted to use them in shades of light pink and peach for my wedding last June but, unfortunately, they wilted really quickly for me.
lovely! i loved them in pink and orange when MS did it, and I really love these in white! how clever!
Cute. Tell me about the tiles in the window though! Love those!
These don't look white to me; they look lavender, but they're very nice.
do look a tad lavendar, but i assure you they're white, maybe just the combo of light and paint color from the room?
jkj3, thanks! the tiles are actually a stained glass window we installed when we started remodeling our house...
