This morning over at Ohdeedoh, we shared a small obsession in our household. Pez. We keep our collection in check, contained and displayed in full glory while we add to it.
It all started as a prize given during grocery shopping trips when we were younger and although many were lost along the way to sandboxes, friends or in between couch cushions, we still have a hearty amount left.
They stay safe and sound in a lidless apothecary jar, which makes it easy to add more and keeps their bright colors showing while feeling a bit more polished. Don't have a collection you need to contain? A random jar filled with the same object is always a fun decorating idea. What would you fill it with? Let us know after the jump...
Maybe it's movie tickets or golf balls, but a full jar of something quirky, even if it has no sentimental value to it can be a fun obscure way to bring a little whimsy into your spaces. What would you like to see a jar full of? Rubber snakes? Dice? Glass doorknobs?
Tell us your thoughts below!

I have two such jars. One is my lifetime flotsam jetsom jar filled with various small ephemera that would be lost in a cluttered drawer and too precious to discard (my grandpa's wedding ring, a small clock, little toys, watches, id bracelet, travel momentos, etc.). The other is a jar filled with little treasures that I have found while digging in the yard (old toys, berets, keys, etc.). Both are in very large French pickling jars.
I have a small jar with pencils and quite large one full of eracers (I usually lose them)
i have that very same jar holding all of my little animal figures and knick-knacks. although i feel bad that some get buried in the middle, lol.
pieces of sea glass collected at the Jersey Shore over the decades.
Well, I gotta say, I like your display idea better than this, but I had to share this link with you. My uncle has a Pez collection too, and displays his on these racks:

I want to go fleamarketing with her!
A friend of mine inspired me to keep such a jar - filled with little serendipitous treasures... a green rubber frog found on the front porch, a lone dice found in some gravel, it makes every day into a treasure hunt.
