Paper patchwork. We blogged Design Sponge's beautiful drawer liner project awhile back. Now check out another creative use of new and vintage patterned paper by Petunia for her daughter, Fiona.

Petunia purchased the chair at a garage sale for cheap. She explains:

Some vintage and some new papers, scissors, glue, a little aging and voila, a whole new chair!
It's a beautiful mix of vintage and modern, but we have to admit we really like the BEFORE chair as well.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I have chairs almost identical to the before, but they are looking pretty beat up these days. I have a stash of great Japanese paper I couldn't resist buying and had no use for--now I have a plan! Thanks!
thank you for featuring fiona's little chair! it was fun to make it.
Love this!
what sort of glue is recommended for this type of project?
But the original was so generic. Huge improvement. I'd also like to know the glue and process.
I also would like to know what glue was used as well as what it was coated with (or if it was coated at all). Please share! :)
So Beautiful!!! I love the after chair
