having spent the summer in jackson hole, wyoming, where more things are made out of elk antlers and burled wood than not, i have to say that i haven't yet seen any of these combined with leopard print! yeehaw.
emily, you really can't stand a few bloggers making stupid jokes about a hideous chair? it really bothers you enough to tell them/us to grow up? perhaps a bit of loosening up is in order.....
not trying to be antagonistic, but to quote my inner *non-grownup* "you started it!"

So I stand silent.
I have one..."OUCH!"

you made me laugh so that i almost spit coffee all over my desk. :)
What is a La Porte?
Looks like a medieval torture device.
Of course the chair is ugly, but enough with the Indiana jokes! Grow up, you guys!

La Porte is French for "the Port."

Looks like the chair could have been incorporated into the photo shoot for this Blondie album cover: http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/blondie/the_hunter/
