Made entirely out of leftover materials, dollarvines created a very contemporary holiday statement by gluing 1.5" lengths of spray painted PVC pipe together to make this wreath. We love this new take on a seasonal classic.

I think the red PVC "wreath" is awful/ugly, and I'm a pretty stringent minimalist.
The twig wreath is more my style.
I'm not sure how the PVC wreath would look in real life but the photograph is pretty compelling.
I love it. It doesn't scream CHRISTMAS but does a nice job of decorating in a quiet way. gb

like the base of something you're supposed to weave greenery in and out of. o.0
I don't think it's horrible, but it seems unfinished. Adding a big bow or weaving colorful or sparkly ribbons or greenery through the pipes would finish it off and add a contrasting texture.
The pvc one looks amazing.... even the silver hook makes a nice adition and looks like part of the design as well...
The other one looks like some crow lost it's nest....
The door looks like one from Crestview Doors in Austin. I don't know if they're still producing, though, or just selling kits to make your own.
First off, I tried putting some adornment on it, but it just seemed...off. I felt like the hook was actually playing a pretty integral part in the whole thing. I already have some planters at the foot of the door so I wasn't looking for something too soft.
As for the door, it is a Crestview model I bought a couple of years ago.
The PVC wreath is about as far as I would ever take holiday decorations, and it's gorgeous.
I'm usually drawn to organics, but I love the bold graphic statement of the PVC wreath. It seems very streamlined.

I love both. The PVC wreath is totally original, modern and still says "Christmas!" Nice job! I just wouldn't hang it from that fugly hook.
The twig "wreath" looks more appropriate to Easter - as in crown of thorns.
