I came across this home and was immediately wowed by the use of color. Each room has tasteful accents of a specific candy-coated hue. Pastels are used in subtle amounts to give this home a feeling of joy.
We all have seen examples of what happens when someone chooses one specific color for their home. They tend to have an overwhelming amount of it throughout their rooms and they keep collecting little trinkets in the color.
Interior Designer Alexandra Angle did exactly the opposite in this home. She added little bits of wide range of colors throughout. Rather than choosing bright, distracting colors, Alexandra went with light candy-coated pastels. Even the doors are painted a different shade of happy!

Love this!
Really pretty effect!
I expected rooms full of color, each one with a different color. But these are all white rooms accented with specific colors.
I do like this a lot though.
Very nice! And very brave for mixing yellow and green like that in the first photo. I never would have attempted such a thing, but it works here.
Gorgeous! I'll be adding this to the inspiration board.
So fun!
this is awesome! colorful but not overpowering.

thumbs up! :)
Love it! Great example of how to make a minimalist or semi-minimalist home feel warm.
Excellent! What a happy happy place.
Someone help me convince my husband how amazing this is and that we can do it in our house. SSSoooo pretty!
This looks cheery to me and, given the white background throughout, may not make this home appear smaller by chopping it up visually.
This is, no joke, exactly what I wanted to do with our new place! So glad to have an example to help further my cause with muted earth town loving hubby.
Lol, *tone not town.
I LOVE the striped floors! Are they painted?
love seeing that someone else has a nautical chart on the wall...
Where might one find that little paper table lamp? So cute!
